    I am a dancer. I have a great body and I am a good dancer, but I just can’t perform the way I know I should… my body just won’t let me do it. I heard about Fitworks and talked with Gary. He said I have great flexibility the problem was the position of my skeletal frame- my pelvic girdle was tilted down in the front and up in the back. He called it swayback and that when I moved my leg to the side  and upward the femur or leg bone would hit the hip too soon. He called it an anterior pelvic tilt. I also had this upper back, hunch back thing going on, I hated the look of it and my right shoulder always hurt deep inside. And yes, I had a forward head and my spine pulled to the left. And get this -when I laid on my back you could see the rib cage was high on the left and low on the right. My ankles would fall inward so the side of my leg would just kill me and I had flat feet. I couldn’t sit because I was sitting on my tail bone. I was a mess and frustrated to say the least.  Gary taught me a lot about anatomy. In 12 sessions we had everything lined up and stable except my head still needed to go back a little more but, I can finish that off on my own. I just need to say to everyone that if you are a dancer and your instructor is screaming at you all the time because you can’t do a particular move. It’s no big deal- just go see Gary at Fitworks-problem solved- and you will be one of the great dancers, like I am today.
